In April, 2007,  a 16-people delegation, composed by people from National Development and Reform Commission, provincial development and reform commission, China National Salt Industry Corporation and provincial salt companies, went to Greece and Japan to study salt pricing policies in other countries.

The delegation had good discussions with KALAS S.A. and Japan Salt Association.
