At present, China National Salt Industry Corporation has 20 sub-enterprises which focus on the table salt monopolization business. With the close cooperation with relevant official departments, these table salt monopolization enterprises do business in table salt wholesale, distribution and packaging. CNSIC also has 12 salt production enterprises scattered in 9 provinces. CNSIC strengthens the construction of salt chemical bases. It successfully bought 7 salt chemical enterprises, namely, Neimenggu Jilantai Salt Chemical Co., Ltd., Yabulai Salt Chemical Company, Hunan Zhuzhou Chemical Group, Shanxi Yuncheng Salt Chemical Bureau, Anhui Hefei Hongsifang, Jiangsu Zhenjiang Salt Chemical Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Chemical Factory, which realized its statistical overall arrangement in east, middle and west of China. CNSIC also established panel board bases in Zhengding, Hebei province, south of Sichuan province, Suizhou, Hubei province and Chengde, Hebei province. CNSIC has 46 sub-enterprises in 25 provinces, autonomous regions and cities. CNSIC is getting stronger in the process of M&A and in the market competition.
